What does Denver’s job market look like for the next three months?

Over the next three months, the hiring trends in Colorado and Denver are expected to exceed national hiring trends.

That’s according to a new study by staffing company ManpowerGroup, which indicated that Colorado and Denver have some of the nation’s most positive net employment outlooks.

In the next three months, according to the report, 29 percent of Colorado employers plan to hire more employees, while 2 percent expect to reduce their payrolls. Another 66 percent expect to maintain their current workforce levels and 2 percent are not certain of their hiring plans. ManpowerGroup said this yields a net employment outlook of 28 percent.

In the Denver metro area, 29 percent of employers said they plan to hire more employees from July through September. Four percent plan to reduce payrolls, while 65 percent of employers expect to maintain current staff levels and 2 percent indicate they are not sure of their hiring plans. Manpower Group said that yields a net employment outlook of 25 percent.
