Unemployment rate down, wages up in Colorado for May

Colorado’s unemployment rate fell again in May, dropping slightly to 2.8 percent as non-farm companies added 7,700 jobs during the month.

That puts the state a full percentage point below the national unemployment rate of 3.8 percent but slightly higher than the 2.6 percent unemployment rate of which Colorado boasted in May 2017, according to a monthly report from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
