First a Chophouse, Now 801 Fish Swims to Cherry Creek
Des Moines-based 801 Restaurant Group doubles down on its commitment to the Cheery Creek neighborhood and plans to launch a seafood and crustacean concept in late spring of 2018, barely one-third mile from its 801 Chophouse red meat menu.
The Midwest upscale dining specialists will launch the 7,000-square-foot 801 Fish on the ground floor of the under-construction Civica Cherry Creek mixed-use building at 250 Fillmore St. The first 801 Fish debuted in St. Louis in 2015, and followed a similar business pattern, sitting itself directly across the street from an 801 Chophouse.
Featuring a patio right on Filmore and a raw bar inside, the Missouri location is open for lunch and dinner and offers Sunday special meal promotions and a happy hour. Dining favorites include a New England chowder, a Maine Lobster roll, crab cakes, Chilean sea bass, Alaskan halibut, king crab legs and fried oysters.
The steakhouse debuted at the Cherry Creek Mall earlier this year, creating a New York-style steakhouse specializing in USDA prime steaks, fish and crustaceans, and a great wine list.
Civica Cherry Creek plans to 100,342 square foot of office space when it opens in the first quarter of next year. More than 11,500 square feet of retail tenants have yet to be publicly claimed and more food and beverage arrivals are still to be announced.
