So are rents in Denver falling or going up? It depends upon whom you ask.

According to San Francisco-based apartment rental app Zumper, rents are falling by a lot. According to Zumper, the median price (half rent for more, half rent for less) of a one-bedroom rental in Denver fell 3.2 percent in the last month to $1,200. That’s down 4 percent from a year earlier, according to Zumper.

Denver has now fallen out of the nation’s top 20 expensive rental markets in the country, falling to No. 21, according to Zumper.

But wait, Denver rents are rising, according to Apartment List.

The median price for a one-bedroom rental in Denver rose 0.2 percent in the last month to $1,330, and rents have risen 3.2 percent in the last year, says Apartment List in its latest report.
