The Gaddis Family purchased the 3099 Elizabeth St. property in 1963 and operated as Bethel Church of Christ Holiness Inc. until the COVID lockdowns in 2020.  Four years later, ownership decided it was time to sell the property.  The original building was constructed in 1916 and has a great deal of historic charm and architectural character but also a significant amount of deferred maintenance.  The buyer, The Purpose Center also operates a ministry Young Men of Purpose (“YMOP”).  Most of the repairs for the building will be completed by graduates of the YMOP programs.

The property consists of 5,432 SF building on 12,600 SF/.29 AC and sold on 12/16/24 for $550,000 ($101.25/SF).  Ownership provided seller-carry financing for the sale.
