This picture is the result of a series of events that began when I was given a copy of a book called The Ultimate Gift from my friend and colleague, Matt Ritter. After having read the short but powerful book, I decided to pay it forward and give the book to a very good friend of mine who is a school teacher. He read it and passed it to one of his students, who then read it and gave it to another classmate. Upon learning of how many lives this single book was touching, I decided to buy a copy of the book for all thirty students in the class. There are many life lessons in the book, some of which include the gift of giving and the gift of gratitude. I am grateful for the opportunity to positively impact the lives of the kids in this photo. – Josh Newell
