HomeServices of America, an affiliate of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has acquired Colorado residential real estate company Kentwood Real Estate, one of the biggest brokerages in metro Denver.

As part of the deal, HomeServices of America also acquired Kentwood’s affiliated rental and commercial businesses. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Greenwood Village-based Kentwood employs more than 200 real estate agents in metro Denver, with office in the Tech Center, Cherry Creek and in downtown Denver. Kentwood CEO Peter Niederman and his executive team will continue to lead the company’s growth initiatives.
